We’ve Never Heard of this Man, 2019
In July 2016, a representative of Ipswich Borough Council declared on local radio that he had never heard of Alex Pearl.
In response Alex made a new series of video and installation pieces that test the limits of his fame and success. We’ve Never Heard of this Man (Heads) is one of four video pieces that show the artist in the process of appearing or disappearing through a hole in a table. The videos were projected anonymously around Ipswich town centre.
